Ixtapa has two fabulous golf courses, making this tropical utopia for golfers of all levels.
The Marina Golf Club designed by Robert Van Hagge, opened in January 1994, completing the multi-billion project in the Marina Ixtapa.
The Palma Real Golf Course designed by Robert Trent Jr. In 1977, this field was a key element in the master plan FONATUR (National Tourism Fund) originally developed as a destination of Ixtapa Resort. Fields are located opposite the end of the hotels are within walking distance or a route taxi in 5 minutes. For those golfers staying in Zihuatanejo, Ixtapa is only 10 minutes away.
